Jan Paxton has been an avid photographer for over 35 years, fully skilled in both 35 mm and digital photography. For weddings and other affairs she uses the latest digital technology. This allows her to capture more shots more quickly, and also allows her much greater versatility to create beautiful “Lasting Images”.
She has created and sold artistic photos for many years, For the past six years, Jan has been devoting most of her time to wedding photography because, as she puts it, "It gives me the opportunity to capture the joy of those once-in-a-lifetime moments. A moment in time - in a way that tells a story that can be re-told for generations.” Jan emphasizes that although she uses a photojournalistic approach for weddings she always includes shots planned in advance with her clients. Above all, she is an artist and her work reflects her commitment to making all of her photographs memorable.
Jan uses top quality SLR digital cameras and can create beautiful photos in color, black & white or sepia. She also offers the opportunity to cover your wedding rehearsal so she can learn details of your wedding ceremony and get to know your wedding party before the wedding. On the day of your wedding Jan and her assistant will photograph every aspect of your special day. Two photographers are always included in your wedding package.
