Jan Paxton has been an avid photographer for over 30 years, fully skilled in both 35 mm and digital photography. For weddings and other affairs she prefers to use the latest digital technology. This allows her to capture more shots more quickly, and also allows her much greater versatility to create beautiful “Lasting Images”.
She has created and sold artistic photos for many years, and has begun to devote more of her time to wedding photography over the past six years because, as she puts it, "It gives me the opportunity to capture the joy of those once-in-a-lifetime moments. A moment in time - in a way that tells a story that can be re-told for generations.” Jan emphasizes that although she uses a photojournalistic approach for weddings she always includes shots planned in advance with her clients. Above all, she is an artist and her work reflects her commitment to making all of her photographs memorable.
